Diana Katis

Diana Katis is a native London actress with some Mediterranean roots, a good ear for accents and excellent movement skills including yoga and horse riding. She trained at Central and has worked extensively in theatre film and TV. Roles include the lead in the Michael Hoffman film Privileged and Miranda in the award winning BBC series Blind Justice. Theatre work includes the title role in Camille, the original Annie in Hard Feelings (also a BBC Play for Today) and many Shakespearean leads.

She recently returned to the industry having taken a break to raise children and acquire a degree in Fine Art. Since then roles have included Mrs Emmerson written and directed by Edward Bond in The Fool at the Cock Tavern and Jocasta in Ted Hughes' adaptation of Seneca’s Oedipus at BAC. She has also shot a number of short films and most recently a (currently embargoed) Channel 4 programme, to be screened in the New Year.
