Jeremy Tiang trained at Drama Centre London after reading English at Oxford. Recent work includes the Bollywood film Show Man, short film 8.3 Minutes opposite Colin Salmon, and rehearsed readings at Theatre503, the Royal Court, King's Head Theatre and Soho Theatre. Work on stage includes Peace Pagoda (Royal Opera House), Limehouse Nights (Kandinsky), The First Emperor (British Museum/ Yellow Earth Theatre), Jingo (Finborough), Ex Humare (King's Head Theatre), Men of Monsters (Hen & Chickens), Rendition Monologues, The Illegals, Seven Years With Hard Labour (iceandfire), and A Singapore Carol (Singapore Repertory Theatre). Originally from Singapore, Jeremy speaks English with a flawless RP accent, is a Mandarin speaker, and has conversational German. He sings (tenor) and plays the cello and piano to Grade Five standard. Jeremy is also a writer and freelance translator from Chinese to English. His adaptation of A Dream of Red Pavilions recently received a staged reading at Pan Asian Repertory Theater in New York.
