Louise Houghton

Louise Houghton completed filming a leading role in the feature film A Wedding Most Strange in 2011, also starring Chris Finch (Coronation Street) and Adam Hunter (Neighbours). The film had its debut screening at the Montreal Film Festival and was promoted at both the Berlinale 2012 and the Cork Film Fest.

Aside from this film Louise has two other features in post-production due to be completed in 2012, How To Become A Criminal Mastermind and Wilby. Louise is also at home working for screen and is an accomplished TV actress with a recent guest lead role in Holby City. Last year also saw Louise appearing in the promos for the new BBC shows Justice and British At Work.

Theatre has also been a big part of Louise’s career and she has enjoyed playing some classic roles, such as Gwendolen in The Importance Of Being Earnest.  Having worked in contemporary theatre too, Louise recently had a successful run of American Bytes - a collaboration of new American short plays at Wimbledon Studio Theatre.
